Even better that it randomly showed up in my box at the ASUW with nary a sign of who it was from ;-) Hmmm, YOU obsessed with lavender? Why does that not surprise me? You can actually buy lavender honey, and I've seen some recipes for lavender honey mousse that I'm thinking of making. But I'm not sure yet if I'll go that route. I bet I could make lavender syrup if I just find a recipe for it. And lavender chocolate cupcakes sound awesome! The Cake Bible was the best present ever! Also, I am excited to see what you come up with that has lavender. . .I am totally obsessed with lavender and just went to the lavender festival in sequim last weekend. I purchased some dried culinary lavender and a bottle of lavender syrup. I am hoping to make chocolate lavender cupcakes soon. :) YAY for Cake Bible!
